Steve Sagady, Senior Design Engineer
Expertise: Master control & automation, HD studios and production suites, production facilities planning, control point ergonomics, systems workflows and topologies.
Steve Sagady is a Senior Design Engineer and Engineering Manager, overseeing the engineering staff in the San Diego office. He has worked in a variety of roles within the TV and film industry for over 20 years. During his tenure in the industry, Steve has designed and built nearly all of the facilities where he worked. As a Senior Systems Engineer at CBT Systems, Steve was responsible for KABC’s news, production, and technical operations center studio facility in Glendale. After relocating and building the 30 Airborne production studios, Steve also served as their Chief Engineer and AVID Editor.
While at the Verdugo Private Industry Council, Steve was a staff technical advisor and instructed students in the classroom and on-site in VTR service, equipment maintenance, trouble shooting and problem solving in a post production environment. Steve designed and built the post production systems at Quantum Video and was both the Chief Engineer and a CMX editor video editor. At Santa Barbara Sound, his role was audio engineer. Once Two:Dot Studios in Ojai was completed, Steve served as session engineer and worked with clients including Jim Messina, Kenny Loggins, Joe Walsh, Dr. Hook and Shel Silverstein.
