Test Case Study

By eliminating the need to digitize or ingest video following the service, the new production infrastructure gives editors more time to prepare the show for airing and create seven alternate versions for delivery to different international broadcast markets. The seven Avid systems capture all video during the Sunday service, and on Monday they serve as individual edit bays for work on different bits and pieces of the show. All of the Avid systems are situated in the Crystal Cathedral studio's machine room, and an Avocent KVM switching system that gives editors the ability to select and work on any one of the machines remotely using monitors and keyboards installed elsewhere within the facility
